A surge in electrical installations at a section of the Banquet Hall around 5a.m, has reportedly caused a huge inferno at the Lagos Airport Hotel in Ikeja on Monday, destroying valuables worth millions of naira.
It took the Combined efforts of the Lagos State Fire Service, LSFS, and Emergency Management Agency, (LSEMA), to prevent the fire from spreading to adjoining buildings.
It was further gathered that fire fighters from the Alausa station, put out the fire, at about 6a.m.
Nobody was injured in the inferno.
