The eighteenth year remembrance of the gruesome murder of a foremost politician, Dr. Marshall Sokari Harry, at his residence in Abuja, on March 5, 2003, sparked emotions yesterday, as family members and political associates took to social media to express their grief and fond memories.
Dr. Harry, who was one of the founding fathers of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was killed by unknown gunmen and his murder has remained a mystery since then.
Harry, a native of Obuama in Degema Local Government Area, Rivers State, was a force to reckon with in Kalabari kingdom, Rivers State and Nigeria.
