Family announces burial arrangements for HRH Chief (Dr.) Ombo Clinton Odibo Tom-Big Harry

Activities to commence the funeral rites for the interment of the remains of the Amaekpeke of Krakrama, Former Chairman Obuama Council of Chiefs, former Vice Chairman Degema Local Government Traditional Rulers Council, HRH Chief (Dr.) Ombo Clinton Odibo Tom-Big Harry JP, DCF, Odibo VI, Ombo VIII, has commenced.

According to the obituary announcement, released to Africa Update by the family, the Traditional Ruler, died aged 75 years after a brief ailment. The Royal father, who was the former Group Executive Director, Finance and Accounts, at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, left indelible footprints in the sands of time, as his humanitarian gestures and religious commitments gave succour and hope to many.

OMBO CLINTON ODIBO TOM-BIG HARRY JP, DCF, who died on the 6th of March 2021, after a brief illness at the age of 75years.

FRIDAY 27TH AUGUST 2021 by 8am; body will be taken from the mortuary in Port harcourt to St Paul’s African church Port harcourt for commendation service 10am: Body will be taken to his Port harcourt residences for lying-in-state 1PM: Body departs for his Royal home Buguma city 2.00pm: Body arrives Buguma city via the Government jetty and in the chief Ombo war canoe ferried to Buguma main entrance at Owusara Otaji polo Buguma and will be received by the kalabari council of chiefs, bishops and members of the African church family 2.30Pm: body will be lying- in- state at the Chief Ombo Memorial hall in Idoniboye-obu polo in the Ombo group of compound Buguma

5.00PM: Body will leave Buguma for his OBUAMA community with war and festival boats on water display escort 6.00PM: Body arrives OBUAMA (Harry’s town)COMMUNITY in Degema Local government area and is received by the Obuama council of chiefs and the community6.30pm: Body will be lying-in-state at HIS HIGHNESS CHIEF IDONIBOYE-OBU MEMORIAL CIVIC HALL
