………. Forge common front to engender development in the area.
The Executive Chairman of Emohua Local Government Council, Chief David Omereji has assured the people of his administration’s commitment to the development of the area and it’s people.
In his new year message to the people of Emohua, David Omereji said the new year presents a unique opportunity for the people to forge a common front of unity and love to accelerate the pace of growth in the area.
Chief Omereji hinted that he would not lower the bar of development already started but remained focused on making the people happy, which is the hallmark of his governance.
He thanked Governor Siminialayi Fubara for his commitment to the development of Rivers State and Emohua in particularly, saying that the Governor’s support has stimulated his desire to do more for the people of Emohua.
The Emohua Council Boss said so far electricity has been provided for 11 Wards in the area while work to restore light to the remaining wards is in top speed.
He said he has completed a number of projects abandoned by the previous administration in the area and is currently working assiduously to complete other abandoned projects in the area to be inaugurated during the celebration of his 100 days in office..
David Omereji announced that with the engagement of Internal Security Outfit, security of lives and property has improved in the area, and called on the people to cooperate with the outfit to curb crimes and criminality.
He disclosed that the State and Emohua Local governments have adequately taken care of the Christmas and new year needs of Emohua people, through the provision of rice, cows and cash.
While charging the people of Emohua to remain supportive of the government of Sir Siminialayi Fubara in the state and his administration in the LGA, Chief Omereji thanked them for their prayers, enjoining them to sustain the tempo, and wished the people of Emohua including residents, Members of Emohua 10th Legislative Assembly, Political Appointees and Staff of the Council, a happy and Prosperous 2025.
