Dumo Lulu-Briggs succeeds late father

Chief Dumo O.B. Lulu-Biggs, has stepped into the shoes of his late father, High Chief O.B. Lulu-Biggs, succeeding him as the Iniikeiroari V. This development an inside source has described as unprecedented because the revered stool is non-inheritable. Africa Update was reliably informed that Chief Dumo O.B. Lulu-Briggs was elevated to the stool for his enormous service to the community.

The Amanyanabo of Abonnema, His Royal Highness, Disrael Gbobo Bob-Manuel II, performed the traditional reception of Chief Lulu-Biggs into the revered ancient stool of “Head of Young Briggs House and the Iniikeiroari VI” of Kalabari Kingdom, inside the Oruwari Memorial Hall, in Abonnema, Akuku Toru Local Government Area in Rivers State, on Saturday April 10.
