The Rivers State Governorship candidate of Action Alliance, Dr Dawari Ibietela George, has condoled with his spokesman, Mr Bekee Anyawelechi on the demise of his wife, Dr Mrs Uche- Awaji Anyawelechi.
Dr George in a letter to the family of Mr Bekee expressed “utmost disbelief and shock” on her demise and described her as one with “devotion to God, passion for education and one who is resilient in her drive to better her world and humanity”.
Dr George recalled her sterling academic accomplishments which he described as not only a loss to her immediate family but to the entire political families and the society at large. He therefore prayed that “the good Lord will come through for Mr Bekee and his family and assured him of his prayers and support.
It would be recalled that late Dr Mrs Uche- Awaji Anyawelechi graduated with her PhD at the last convocation ceremony of the Rivers State University held a few weeks ago. Dr Mrs Anyawelechi is a committed mother, wife and sister and was until her death married to Mr Bekee Anyawelechi, a frontline journalist and spokesman for Dr Dawari Ibietela George’s Governorship campaign. Her demise is truly a huge loss to Rivers State and the nation.
