Dignitaries Mourn Late Mrs. Iboroma, Mother of DELGA Vice Chairman Mrs. Jaja

Dignitaries from across Rivers State gathered in Bakana Community, Degema Local Government Area, on Saturday, November 30th, to pay their last respects to Late Mrs. Grace Sunjuye Iboroma nee Youngman (A.K.A Iquo), the mother of the Vice Chairman of Degema Council, Mrs. Ibimina Igoni Jaja.

The funeral service for the 85-year-old matriarch, who was also the foster mother of prominent politcian Theodore Georgewill, attracted a host of dignitaries to the ancient community.

The Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Agiriye Monima Harry, extended a warm welcome to the attendees, including the Chief of Staff, Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie, Chief David Briggs, Rt. Hon. Evans Bipi, Hon. Sir Achese Igwe (Chairman of Okrika LGA), Hon. Dr. Sule Amachree (Chairman of Asari Toru LGA), and Darlington Orji amongst several others.

Prof. Victor Omuaru, Hon. Chief Damiete Miller, Hon. Ipali Sogules, Sir Ngo Martyns Yellowe, Hon. Roland Obed Whyte (Commissioner for Special Projects), Dr. Mandy George, Hon. Alphine Whyte, Rev Success Ekine, were some prominent leaders from Degema LGA, who graced the burial ceremony.
