•••Says Victory Made Possible By Wike’s Excellent Service Delivery
The Executive Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Hon. Michael John Williams, has congratulated the Rivers State Governor-Elect, Sir Siminialayi Fubara, on his victory and declaration as winner of the recently concluded governorship election in the State.
The Council Chairman in a statement, commended the people of Rivers State for making an informed decision in voting massively for the governor-elect, as well as all candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the elections, expressing confidence that Sir Siminialayi Fubara has the wherewithal and required capacity to steer the State to greater and enviable heights.
He hailed the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike, for laying the foundation of excellent service delivery, upon which the PDP and all its candidates, sailed to victory.
The DELGA Sheriff, who is also the LGA Coordinator of the PDP Campaign Council, further lauded members of the PDP in Degema LGA for their avidity, steadfastness and conviction in the CONSOLIDATION and CONTINUITY Project, despite some mischievous emotive attempts to fan the embers of bigotry and parochialism.
The Mayor of Kalabari, who noted that Governor Wike would be leaving a very big shoe behind on May 29, having raised the bar in governance, prayed God to imbue his successor, Sir Fubara, with the wisdom to serve Rivers people to God’s glory.
