The Executive Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Agiriye Monima Harry, on Saturday, November 23rd, graced the burial ceremony of a centenarian, late Elder Richard Sagbe Tom Big Harry, JP, at his country home in Obuama Community (Harry’sTown).
The deceased, popularly known as ‘The Soloist’ passed away at the ripe age of 101, after a fulfilled life in service to God and humanity.
Born in 1923 into the family of Da Sagbe; last son of the famous late Chief Idoniboye Obu, founder of Obuama, the late Centenarian started his early life and working career in Lagos State.
Commiserating with the bereaved family, the Council Chairman enjoined them to take solace in the fact that their late patriarch lived a life worthy emulation, urging them to keep his legacy on.
