Death creeps into Rivers State House of Assembly

The member representing Khana 2 at the Rivers House of Assembly, Dinebari Loolo, is dead.

Africa Update reports that Loolo died in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, on Monday.

On hearing the news, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule led other lawmakers on a condolence visit to the family of the late lawmaker.

The Speaker, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues during the condolence visit, expressed the condolences of the House to the family of the late Loolo, describing him as a rare gem who contributed immensely to the development of his constituency and the state as a whole.

He urged the family to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a life of service to humanity and left a legacy that will forever be remembered.

He assured the family of the continued support of the House while praying for their comfort and strength during this challenging period.

The Speaker also prayed that almighty God would grant the family and his loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss of their colleague.
