David Ibiyeomie tasks bloggers on factual reportage, gifts houses to Pastors as Salvation Ministries marks 25th anniversary

The need for bloggers to contribute towards national development was reiterated when the Senior Pastor and founder of Salvation Ministries worldwide, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, was speaking at the thanksgiving service to mark the 25th anniversary of the Church, on Sunday April 17, at the Headquarters in Port Harcourt the Rivers State Capital.

Ibiyeomie, expressed concern at the negative and untrue stories published by some bloggers that are detrimental to the growth of the Country. He admonished them to focus their time and energies on ways to attract positive perception from the international Community that would foster development.

The thanksgiving service which was the climax of the Church’s 25th anniversary celebration which started on Wednesday, coincided with the Easter celebration. Delivering the power packed sermon, titled: Understanding the power of His resurrection, he said for Christians to enjoy the benefit of resurrection of Jesus Christ, it is important for them to understand the essence of His death.

Noting that the death of Jesus is for the reminision of sin, just as His resurrection power translates Christians from filthiness to holiness, from captivity to liberty, from sickness to health, from defeat to triumph, from struggles to breakthroughs, from shame to Glory, from death to life and from poverty to riches. He urged Christians to take their rightful place knowing that Jesus has paid the price for sin and Satan can not accuse Christians anymore.

Meanwhile, Africa Update learnt that four pastors including Pastor(Mrs) Peace Ibiyeomie, were presented with houses at various locations in the Country, in appreciation for their steadfastness and commitment to the Ministry over the years.

Handing over the documents of the Houses to his wife, Pastor Charles Alikor, Pastor Abiye David Daniel and Pastor Samson Michael, Pastor Ibiyeomie said the properties were given in recognition of their many years of diligent, faithful and loyal service to the Ministry.
