TACKLING THE MENACE

It is pertinent to say that every cultist has parents, family and community, therefore the solution primarily among others rests with the family and society to Instil discipline and moral values in your child at an early age.

Give your child a pet to care and love so that he or she can value creatures,There is a big difference between child bearing and child rearing.
Parenting has gone more than the traditional roles.Adopt parental intelligence and practice intelligent parenting-observe and be ahead of your child.

The failure of parenting leads the child to look for parents outside,get close and understand the character traits of your child and for God’s sake why should your child keep late nights?
Avoid boarding schools and if it is unavoidable take extra care to select one.

Be a mentor and a role model to your child
Why should parents be afraid of hurting the feelings of a child for a good reason
Do not jump to defend your child for the sake of parental love
Supervise and get involved, be approachable, be interested in the life of your child
Of what use if you have all the money in the world and lose your child?

Let your child be value added to the society, any child that is a failure is a product of poor parenting, give birth to the number you have time and resources to train and if you don’t have the time and resources -DO NOT GIVE BIRTH

Parents should know and observe the friends of their children
Parents should notice strange behaviour of children
Moral education should be compulsory from primary to secondary schools
Legislation and enforcements against cultism

Cultism should be a federal offence and charged straight to high court while maximum punishment is recommended
Our police should be alive to their responsibilities and purge itself of cultist elements.Suspected cultists should not be granted police bail.

Guidance counsellors and psychologists should be engaged in all primary and secondary schools both private and public.

Community heads should be held responsible for cultists activities in their domain
Members of the community should rise up mobilise and arrest cultists and hand them over to security agents and if later released they should be banished.

Any politician found involved should be disqualified even after winning and decisively dealt with,
