In a bid to curtail the spread of coronavirus in Rivers State, Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Port Harcourt, Most Reverend Calimus Etukudoh, has directed Catholic churches in the state to provide hand washing points in their parishes.
He also asked in a statement, that parishes should remove the Holy water vessels that are usually placed at the entrance of the churches.
He further called for massive education of Catholics on the most hygienic way of receiving Holy communion during Holy mass.
