Speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt the Rivers State capital, the President General of Project Democracy, Gloria Boma Harry, said it is unimaginable that faceless miscreants would perpetuate such heinous acts to undermine the development of the Kalabari region, thus truncating the developmental efforts of the Nyesom Wike led Government.

She observed that if the reports making the rounds about the kidnap of the expatriates working with Lubric construction company are confirmed to be true, it could hinder the pace of work and further aggravate the sufferings of Kalabari people.

Harry wondered what the motive behind such despicable act could be and called on traditional rulers and politicians to convoke an assembly to address this menace and prevent any future reoccurrence that could negatively impact on the socioeconomic sector of the Kalabari Kingdom.
