The Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has secured victory at the election tribunal.
Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olusola Eleka, had dragged Fayemi , the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), before the Governorship Election Tribunal, alleging series of election irregularities and malpractices.

On Monday, the Ekiti State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja unanimously struck out Eleka’s case and ruled that Fayemi is the duly elected Governor of the state.
