The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a political chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former Council Boss of Asari Toru Local Government Area in Rivers State Hon. Ojukaye Flagg Amachree last night in Port Harcourt.
The arrest according to the Police Public Relations Officer,(PPRO), Ahmad Mohammad is connected to recent killings in Buguma City, headquarters of Asari Toru Local Government area during the recent rerun election in the state.
Details of the arrest is however sketchy as at the time of this report. Update will be provided in subsequent report.
