The Judicial proceedings at the Court of Appeal was disrupted today by hoodlums allegedly sponsored by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, had filed for the stay of execution of the Judgement delivered by Justice Omotosho, directing the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to exclude the party’s logo and the name of its candidates from the ballot paper for the Governorship, National and State Assembly elections.
Africa Update gathered that the Governorship candidate of the APC, Pastor Tonye Cole and other candidates had approached the Court and ruling on the case was billed for today, but some hoodlums invaded the court in an attempt to forestall the case, leading to its adjournment to tomorrow, January, 31, 2019 .
