Boko Haram militants have rampaged the village of Kuda in Adamawa State in northeast Nigeria again, setting houses on fire and shooting sporadically at about 5 p.m. on Friday, 18 women were reportedly shot dead at a funeral according to reports.
The village which is close to the Sambisa Forest, is a vast colonial-era game reserve where Boko Haram militants hide in secluded camps to avoid the Nigerian military. Kuda had been attacked by Boko Haram militants in February.
