The frail peace in Omoku, may be under attack following the gruesome murder of about 15 Christians who were reportedly on their way back from the crossover service which held on December 31, 2017.
The attack according to sources occurred Monday morning , at Kirigani and Oboh areas of Aligwu community in Omoku main town, Ogba/egbema/ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The gunmen were said to have opened fire on these unarmed Christians killing 15 on the spot, while over 13 persons sustained injuries.
A source however alleged that the attack was led by the younger brother of an ex-Nigeria Delta militant Leader, Johnson Igwedibia popularly known as DonWanny.
