The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED, has attributed the current power outage experienced in some parts of the state to a major technical fault on its three feeders.
According to a statement by the manager, corporate communications, John Onyi, the feeders are Airport feeder 1, Rumuodumaya feeder 2, and Rumuola, also known as feeder 3.
He noted that as a result of the outage arising from the technical fault, the following areas affected are, Orazi, Rumuola, Rumuodolu, Okporo, Aba Road, Rumuokoro, Agip, Eliozu, Rumuodumaya, and Rukpuoku.
The statement assure that a rapid response team has been launched to ensure that the fault is fixed with he view to restring power supply to the affected areas as soon as possible.
