Hon. David Okumgba, APC South south zonal secretary, has expressed sadness over the sudden demise of the Cross River State APC Chairman, Dr. Matthew Achigbe.
Okumgba, said the news of Achigbe’s death, is unbelievable and painful, noting that it will create a huge vacuum in the party.
Commiserating with the Achigbe family and others whose loved ones were involved in the accident along Afikpo road in Ebonyi State, yesterday, he prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased.
He also consoled the National Vice Chairman, South South, Ntufam Hilliard Eta, on the demise of Achigbe, who he described as a valuable member of the party.
