It was another sad weekend for riverine communities in Rivers State, as two children are now missing in the Okirika creeks.
Africa Update gathered that a passenger boat conveying 24 passengers including children capsized on its way to Port Harcourt from Okirika on Sunday.
Details are still sketchy at the time of this report on circumstances surrounding the incident but this accident is happening barely two weeks after a similar accident occurred along the creeks of Bakana in Degema local government area, where several lives were lost.
