Former Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Ireland and Senatorial Candidate of the National Rescue Movement, NRM, for Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, Amb Dr. Bolere Elizabeth Ketebu, has been buried at Gudu Christian Cemetery, in Abuja.
Amb. Ketebu, reportedly died yesterday, days after loosing two brothers. Her death according to family sources, is the third within a month, after the ashes of one of their elder brother was brought from London for burial at Odi, in Bayelsa State.
Africa Update gathered that the entire family had attended the burial ceremony at Odi, and two days later one of her younger brother John Ketebu complained of having difficulty in breathing. He was taken to BMSH in Port Harcourt where he died two days after.
Tributes have poured in from friends and close associates of Amb. Ketebu, who during her lifetime, had impacted on the lives of many, as a public health scholar of international repute, and National President of Nigeria Society for Women.
