The Amanyanabo of Abonnema, HM, King (Barr) Disrael Gbobo Bob-Manuel,(ii)KSC, JP, Owukori ix, has congratulated the Rivers State Governor, Chief (Barr) Nyesom Wike,CON,GSRRS, as he marks his 3rd year Anniversary in office.
While addressing press men at the Obi Wali complex in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, the Monarch expressed satisfaction with the developmental strides of the governor in the state, describing it as a laudable achievement.
The First Class Monarch particularly commended the governor for the projects executed by his administration all over Rivers State including Abonnema which has some of the projects lined up for commissioning as part of programmes to mark his 3rd year in office.
The Amanyanabo stated that the Abonnema people and indeed the entire Kalabari people were grateful to the governor for the elevation of the AMANYANABO OF ABONNEMA Stool to a first class status thereby increasing the number of first class monarchs in Kalabari land, noting that such gesture was a fulfilment of the dreams of the Kalabari Ethnic Nationality who had over the years yearned for such recognition from the government.
He also used the occasion to commend Governor Wike for his efforts at maintaining peace and security of lives and property across the state.
The Royal Father, prayed for more wisdom on the governor to fulfill the aspirations of the people of the state.
