In recognition of her numerous humanitarian activities, the Founder/ Editor in Chief, Africa Update Newspaper, Gloria Boma Harry has been named woman of the year 2017.
At the award presentation ceremony at Liberty Christian Church, in Port Harcourt, Bishop Moses Obasi, said Harry was nominated based on her outstanding passion to impact on society.

On her part, Harry expressed joy and reiterated her commitment towards the service of humanity.
