The National Publicity Secretary of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Emmanuel Yawe, is dead. According to sources, that Yawe, aged 65, died in his sleep in the early hours of Friday in Abujab after an official assignment on Thursday.
He had on Thursday, issued a statement on behalf of the ACF in condolence with the people of Benue State over the death of Hon. B. A Chacha, former Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Speaking to newsmen, Yawe’s daughter, Talatu Yawe who confirmed his death said, her father had been in and out of hospital in the last few months, but was fine and at home throughout Thursday. The late Yawe is survived by his wife and four children.
