There was pandemonium at the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Ikeja in Lagos on Friday as a gun allegedly belonging to a security personnel ‘accidentally’ discharged and injured three persons.
It was gathered that the security personnel failed to put the gun on safety catch, resulting in the explosion. Though no life was lost, those standing close to the security personnel were injured.
The situation was brought under control by the airport security, while the injured persons were taken to the airport clinic for treatment.
