Following the recent redeployment of Senior Military Officers in the Army, Major General Sani Gambo Mohammed, has taken over as the new General Officer Commanding, (GOG), 6 Division Nigerian Army Port Harcourt.
A statement released to newsmen, by the Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations 6 Division, Lieutenant Colonel Charles Ekeocha, said the new GOC is a seasoned Senior Officer who before his new appointment, as the Seventh General Officer commanding 6 Division Nigerian Army, was a Director at the Army Headquarters Department of Training and Operations.
The statement further stated that Major General Mohammed, has attended all mandatory Courses and served in several Nigerian Army formations and units as well as Military establishments where he held various appointments. The statement called on the general public particularly residents of Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa and Delta states to take note of the recent appointment.
