The Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, has demanded a compensation of N2 billion from former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode and the Special Assistant to Governor Ayodele Fayose, Lere Olayinka, for falsely accusing him of owning the controversial $43.4 million discovered in a flat in ikoyi, Lagos state .
According to our source, the Minister had written to the men through his lawyer, demanding an apology and payment of the said compensation within seven days.
Olayinka had alleged that the flat at Osborne Towers was paid for by the minister for his girlfriend , EbonyLife TV founder, Mosunmola Abudu.
Amaechi has denied having any girlfriend or owning $43.4 million and other cash found in the flat.
