Three men were almost roasted to death yesterday for allegedly gang raping an 8 year old girl, Â at the popular Relief Market on Egbu road, in owerri, Â Imo State.
The little  girl (names withÂheld) , according to information made available to Africa Update, was hawking sachet water when she was taken to a shop around the corner under the guise of buying the water. The girl was purportedly raped by the three men.
As she left for her home, her sobs had attracted the attention of other pedestrians, who were angered by her story. It was reported that they had pounced on the men, whom they gave the beating of their lives and was about setting them ablaze before the police intervened.
The trauÂmatised girl and the men, were however taken to the police station.
