As the political scene gradually comes to live in Rivers State, ahead of the 2023 General elections, a group under the aegis of South South Youths for Transparent Leadership Initiative has called on the Chief Executive of Belema Oil Producing Limited, Engr Tein Jackrich Junior to contest for the governorship of the state.
Leader of the group who is also a former lawmaker who represented Ahoada East Constituency 1 in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Chief Hon Martin Mannah said the call was necessitated after a thorough consideration of Jackrich’s achievements
He also expressed confidence in the ability of Jackrich Jnr to revive the economy of the state when he becomes governor.
