The National Population Commission, NPC, says a stakeholders’ summit with the theme: You Count, be Counted, will hold in Port Harcourt the Rivers State Capital, on Monday October 17.
In an exclusive chat with Africa Update, the Honorable Federal Commissioner in Charge of the State, Dr. Ipalibo M. Harry, said the summit will hold at the NBA hall along Bank Road, in the city centre.
He disclosed that the Rivers State stakeholders summit is in furtherance to the ongoing nationwide engagement of stakeholders across sectors ahead of the 2023 National Census with the theme “Getting The People Involved”..
He further stated that the Commission is collaborating with the Rivers State Government to organise the summit and urged religious, youth and women groups including professional organisations to be part of the summit.
