Rivers State: Lawmakers constitutes Ad-hoc committee to tackle sea piracy

The Rivers State House of Assembly has constituted an Ad-hoc committee headed by the lawmaker representing Gokhana constituency, Dumle Maol, to checkmate the issues of sea pirate attack on Bile waterways in the state.
This follows a petition presented on the floor of the house by the lawmaker representing Degema constituency, Anthony Soberekon over the issues of insecurity on the Bile waterways. 
Soberekon called on the Rivers State government to as a matter of urgency address the continues issues of sea pirate on Bile waterways.         

The speaker of the house, Ikunyi Owaji Ibani said the lawmakers will not relent in ensuring the safety of lives and properties of rivers people.
