Spokesman of Nashville Fir Department, Joseph Pleasant has confirmed that about eight people were injured in a shooting at the Burnette Chapel Church of Christ as of 11:40 a.m. Sunday, in Tennessee.
On Twitter, Nashville fire officials described it as a “mass casualty situation.” They said eight people, nearly all of them adults over age 60, were being treated for gunshot wounds and the area around the church remained shut down.
The wounded were transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center by Multiple ambulances.
