A Twist in the Tale: Hulk Hogan’s Death Sparking Medical Malpractice Claims, Police Investigation

Clearwater, Florida — The sudden death of wrestling icon Terry “Hulk” Hogan has taken a sensational turn, as his daughter, Brooke Hogan, claims that crucial evidence from 911 calls and police body camera footage could “change the narrative” surrounding his passing. The WWE Hall of Famer died on July 24 at age 71 after suffering a cardiac arrest.

While initial reports cited a cardiac event and an undisclosed battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a source for TMZ now claims that a police report on ‘lockdown’ suggests the wrestling legend may have been a victim of medical malpractice. According to the police report, an occupational therapist present at Hogan’s home at the time of the cardiac arrest reportedly told officers on the scene that medical malpractice was a factor. This conversation was allegedly captured on body cam footage, which, along with the 911 dispatch calls, is currently “on lockdown,” according to Brooke Hogan.

In a series of emotional Instagram stories, Brooke revealed that “professionals” from law enforcement and the medical field have been contacting her, urging her to obtain the recordings. They are allegedly risking their careers because they “feel so compelled to do the right thing.”

“I have no control. I can not do anything, my hands are tied, and I have no say in anything regarding my dad – even as his daughter,” she wrote, indicating that his wife has control of the decisions.

The Clearwater Police Department released a statement acknowledging the ongoing investigation into Hogan’s death. “The unique nature of this case has required us to interview multiple witnesses and seek medical records from a variety of providers,” the statement read, adding that the department has been in communication with the family. The official cause of death remains unconfirmed as the investigation continues.
