The countdown to the most anticipated youth talent showcase in the South-South has officially commenced. Organisers of the Talent Arise initiative have announced that registration is now open for the 7th edition, inviting the next generation of creative stars to step into the spotlight.

In the vibrant socio-economic landscape of Rivers State, the CEO of Africa Update and Springpoint Magazine, Ms Gloria Boma Harry, is spearheading this transformative movement. Established as a robust corporate social responsibility (CSR) framework, this registered platform mentors young Nigerians, harnessing their creative potential to curb societal menaces through confidence and professional skill-building.

A Platform for Excellence

Now entering its seventh year, the competition has evolved into a prestigious regional institution. The landmark sixth edition was characterised by high-level institutional collaboration with Alliance Française Port Harcourt and the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), successfully bridging the gap between academic rigour and artistic expression. Building on this legacy, Season 7 aims to provide even greater visibility and professional mentorship for participants.

Call to Youth: Your Stage Awaits

The initiative invites talented youths from across the Federation to register and compete in three vital pillars: Singing, Dancing, and Comedy. Talent Arise offers more than just the thrill of performance; it provides successful contestants with substantial cash prizes, critical seed capital, and the professional visibility required to transition into sustainable, high-growth careers. This multifaceted approach ensures participants are technically equipped for the global marketplace, fostering a new generation of entrepreneurs.

An Invitation to Partners and Sponsors

As preparations for the 7th edition reach a crescendo, the mission remains unchanged: utilising merit as a shield against restiveness. To achieve this goal on a larger scale, the CEO, Gloria Boma Harry, is calling on corporate organisations, philanthropic foundations, and well-meaning individuals to partner with the initiative.

“The success of Talent Arise is built on a foundation of shared responsibility,” Ms Harry remarked. “By partnering with us, sponsors are not just supporting a show; they are investing in the moral and economic fabric of our youth. We invite visionaries to join us in providing the tools and platforms our children need to thrive.”

Sponsorship and partnership opportunities are currently available for those who wish to align their brands with excellence and community development. Interested parties and prospective contestants are encouraged to reach out to the central organising committee for registration details and partnership dossiers.

Through a continued commitment to excellence, the Talent Arise initiative continues to prove that when talent arises, a nation’s potential rises with it.
