Drowning

Share

I feel like I’m drowning

In things I thought were true

The life I thought was real

In my shield of hope and faith,

I feel like I’m wasting

In the hut of deceit I lay

Hoping the words were real,

I feel like I need saving

In the stream of pains I swim

Never thought I will shed a tear

Now I’m drowning, in my own tears.
