The Rivers State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has inducted new members into her fold on Saturday, June 15th, at Jay Queens Hotel, according to information available to Africa Update.
Africa Update reports that the induction ceremony was preceded by the training session, with industry veterans such as; Millicent Jack, ChiefSon, Sir Gilbert Seperibo, Queen Wokoma, Prophet Oscar, Chief Lawrence, Allison Ogbu, Matthew Ajallis, Mr. Pius, OJ Endurance, Dr. Carol John, Bobby Ikegwuru, Biokpo West, Acho Chinedu, Joy Success, IB Nkem George, Peace Ibe, Madam Cletus, Long John, Innocent Okereke, Tobias Okeke Uzoechi, Romeo O. Romeo and others in attendance.
Former National Vice President South South, Dr. Ovunda Ihunwo, who was the keynote Speaker, delivered a thought-provoking address.
Other speakers included Veteran Actress Hilda Dokubo, former chairman of AGN Rivers, Chief Monima Harry, film director, writer, and actor, God’stime Ify Ejiogu, and former state chairman of AGN, Dr. Barthelomew Gerald AguUgo,
The induction ceremony marked a significant milestone for the new members, and the training sessions equipped them with valuable insights and skills to excel in the industry.
The event’s chief host who doubles as the National Vice President (South South), Chief Mokilese Joseph, and host Osunwa Kenneth Chigozie PhD treated veterans to great hospitality in appreciation for their commitment in upholding the Nollywood industry in the state.
The event showcased the guild’s commitment to capacity building, mentorship, and unity among its members.
