Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, globally recognised as Davido, has officially announced the date and location for his highly anticipated white wedding with his wife, Chioma Rowland.
During a recent interview on the popular American radio show, The Breakfast Club, the “Omo Baba Olowo” crooner revealed that the white wedding ceremony is set to take place in Miami, USA, in August 2025.
Davido described the upcoming event as a continuation of their grand traditional wedding, which took place in Nigeria in June 2024 and was widely celebrated across the nation. Reflecting on their journey, Davido shared insights into their relationship, which has often been in the public spotlight.
“I’m doing my white wedding in Miami, in August this year,” Davido stated. “The wedding I did was traditional, it was like a carnival in Nigeria, like a holiday. The whole world stood still. Me and my wife’s relationship was in the public eye. A lot of things have happened. Even apart from losing our child, I messed up a lot of times so that full circle moment everyone was like finally she can get what she deserves.”
