It’s a double blessing for Afrobeat star Davido and his wife Chioma, who have welcomed a set of twins.
The couple, who lost their son Ifeanyi in a tragic accident last year, welcomed twins on Monday.
According to an inside source, the twins arrived at 9pm.
The news was further confirmed by Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu on Tuesday morning.
The cleric uploaded his chat with Davido on the official Facebook page of his church.
According to the chat, Davido confirmed to the cleric that the prophecy he made last year had come to pass.
Agochukwu had in November last year revealed that God told him that Davido and Chioma will welcome twins after the death of Ifeanyi.
Meanwhile, famous Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has shared a video of afrobeat musician Davido and wife, Chioma in the United States hospital as they welcome twins.
Confirming the news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Iyabo Ojo congratulated the couple for their new blessing.
Sharing the video of the couple on the hospital bed, the actress wrote: “Congratulations, @thechefchi & @davido, on your jewels of inestimable values. God’s protection, provision, and happiness forever.”
Taking to the actress’s comments section, an Instagram user @Sharonmoses wrote: “Iyabo this is an old video of Ifeanyi’s birth.”
Responding to her, the movie star said “@officialsharonmoses it’s yesterday’s video dear.”
While celebrities like Victoria Inyama, Junior Pope and Daddy Freeze among others have congratulated the couple, Davido and Chioma have not announced the birth on social media.
