The celebrated Afrobeats luminary, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known to the global audience as Asake, has offered a rare and poignant glimpse into his private world, elucidating the reasons behind his continued single status amidst his meteoric professional ascent.

In an intimate and revealing dialogue with the digital storyteller Korty EO, the ‘Lungu Boy’ star intimated that his path to matrimony is governed by a synthesis of personal temperament and a profound spiritual conviction.

Despite the flamboyant energy he projects upon the world’s most prestigious stages, Asake characterised himself as a man of deep introversion. He noted that his quiet personality has exerted a significant influence upon his social interactions and, by extension, his romantic pursuits.

The artist confessed that his disinclination to frequent public gatherings or integrate effortlessly into varied social circles has played a definitive role in his current independence. “I think about building a family every day,” Asake remarked, “but I am an introverted type of person who does not go out much. I shall meet my wife when God determines that the hour is right.”

A central theme of the interview was the singer’s unwavering faith in destiny. Asake was resolute in his refusal to haste into a romantic union, asserting that no individual truly comprehends the intricate unfolding of tomorrow.

“God has already written the manuscript of our lives,” he explained. “It is prudent not to rush matters of the heart because we do not fully understand His ways. One cannot know what the future holds.”

Whilst the search for a life partner continues at a pace dictated by faith, Asake revealed that the primary woman in his life remains his mother. He spoke of her with immense tenderness, playfully describing her as his “babe” for the time being.

The singer concluded that while the desire for a domestic legacy remains a daily meditation, he is currently preoccupied with the demands of his flourishing career and his identity as a “man of the streets.” He maintained a posture of serene equanimity, confident that the transition from a solitary superstar to a family man will occur in a manner that is both God-orchestrated and perfectly timed.
