Professor Owunari Georgewill has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt. Chairman of the Governing Council of the institution, Sen. Andrew Uchendu made this known after a meeting of the board on Friday.
Ichendu who said the new VC was appointed after series of screening urged him to pilot the affairs of the school to the best of his ability. On his part, Prof. Owunari expressed gratitude to the council for finding him worthy for the appointment.
