Governing Council of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education dissolved

The Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has approved the immediate dissolution of the Governing Council of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education. The directive was contained in a Government Special Announcement signed by the Commissioner for Education, Prof Kaniye Ebeku.

The announcement further stated that “Council members are requested to hand over all University property in their possession to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele.”
