Three suspected IPOB members arrested for allegedly bombing Gov. Wike’s father’s church

Three people are now assisting the Rivers state police command, with useful information relating to the bombing of a Pentecostal church, Christain Universal Church International, located at Mile 2, Diobu axis of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, owned by the father of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.

Confirming the arrest of the suspects, who are alleged members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, the Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command, SP Nnamdi Omoni, said the suspects, allegedly detonated explosives at the church, .

He said the commissioner of police has launched investigation into the attack and the suspects, who sustained injuries during the attack, are currently receiving treatmrnt at an undisclosed hospital.
