Rivers state police command has confirmed the invasion of Lubara Community in Khana Local Government area by gunmen suspected to be cultist.
Making the clarification to newsmen, Police public relations officer, SP Nnamdi Omoni, said the incident was a cult clash between two rival groups, which led to the death of one Bariya Timothy ‘m’ 35yrs, a notorious gang leader whose gang is responsible for the attacks.
Omoni in a statement said no arrest has been made, however all hands on deck to arrest members of both cult groups.

Africa Update gathered that unidentified gunmen had invaded the community at about 8pm, on Tuesday night December 29, killing two persons, Baridapdo and Bariyaa.
The incident according to sources, occurred at a beer parlour near the market square where they shot at people, killing the two men and injuring others.
