River state police command has arrested a four man gang of cattle rustlers at Eagle island.
Commissioner of police Usman Belel stated this to newsmen while recording the commands achievements barely a week after its previous achievements.
According to him, operatives of SARs while acting on credible information traced a syndicate of cattle rustler and recovered 10 cattles rustled from Abia state.
He further added that the command has recovered arms and ammunitions, arrest of illegal arms dealer at Rumuoji town, death of notorious armed robber at Akpajo, arrest of kidnappers and rescue of victim at Igboetche, amongst others.
According to our reporter Tamunotonte Abiye, a total number of 20 suspects were arrested, 3 vehicles recovered, 55 live ammunition recovered amongst others.
Meanwhile, rescued kidnapped victim with name undisclosed said she was kidnapped at Eneka on the 1st of june and taken to their camp at igbo-etche, adding that she was asked to bring a sum of Four million naira as ransom if not she would be killed and her body parts sold to ritualist.
