Rivers State: “Man power” kills man inside a hotel room hours after checking in with a woman

The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed that investigation has commenced to unravel circumstances surrounding the sudden death of an unidentified man, whose lifeless body was discovered in a hotel room in Rivers State, according to the acting Police Public Relations Officer Mrs Grace Iringe-Koko.

Sources, disclosed that the man was found dead in a hotel room at Ada George Axis in Obio/ Akpo Local Government Area of Rivers State, in the early hours of Wednesday, February 16.
, Hotel Source disclosed that the man reportedly died hours after checking into the hotel with a lady, whose cry for help had attracted a guest and hotel staff to the room where the sad incident occured.

Africa Update was further informed that the guest, the manager of the hotel and security men, had rushed the  man to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. While the incident was also filled with the police.
The manager of the hotel and the lady have been detained at Rumupakani Ada George Police Division, and during interrogation, the lady who was with the deceased the night before, said the man had allegedly drank a concoction suspected to be ‘man power’ at a local gin bar before checking in to the hotel.
