The Rivers State government has ordered all mechanics,vendors and artisans to evacuate road sides in Port Harcourt or face sanction.
The Governor in a statement released by the S.A on electronic media Simeon Nwakaudu said the government is disturbed about the nuisance constituted by all those doing business on the road side.He also said anyone who flags the directive at the expiration of the one week ultimatum given by the rivers state government will be punished according to the laws of the state.
The Governor said it will establish a new task force to implement the new directive and ensure that the maintenance of law and order is kept in the state.
