A combined team of security agencies have restored normalcy and calm at the Enugu State prison, after a violent clash that left dozens severely injured on Friday night.
Though the cause of the riot was not revealed, Africa Update gathered that some inmates were protesting against what they alleged to be victimization and favoritism.
They purportedly revolted aginat the preferential treatment given to some inmates at the detriment of others.
