Confessional statement before a Court has led to the rearrest of one of the suspects responsible for the alleged murder of the Paramount Ruler of Zakpo Community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, by operatives of the State Criminal Investigation Department, State CID.
Kosi Tigidan, was rearrested for killing the Ruler of Zakpo Community. late Chief Friday Nwigrariato, on March 26, 2005. Africa Update gathered that Tigidan and his accomplices, Dele Parako and Leeda Deeyah, were dragged to court on conspiracy and murder charges.
Deeyah and Parako, have already been sentenced to death by hanging by Rivers State High Court Judge in 2019 , but Tigidan, reportedly secured his release following DPP report. He was however rearrested when his accomplices made confessional statements in court.
